About TEP

TEP is working with key partners across the UK based in consortia for the Diploma as well as individual TEP schools and colleges.

TEP is a represented on the QCA advisory steering group and is involved across the spectrum of TESS and STEM initiatives and activities. We would be delighted to hear from you with ideas and news of engineering and diploma based work. The focus of TEP is to provide good value, cutting edge, sustainable, resources for Engineering Diploma based education. This is supported by professional development and teaching and learning materials.

TEP has been core funded since the early 90's to develop and promote new ideas, practice and resources for the Design and Technology community. The legacy web site http://www.tep.org contains a wealth of materials, downloads, teaching notes and resources for D&T.

Strategic Partners

TEP works closely with its strategic partners that includes: The Royal Academy of Engineering, Middlesex University, specialist schools and Academies Trust, STEMNET and the Engineering Training Board.

Industrial Partners

To ensure a strong industrial employer presence in our work, TEP have teamed up with a number of prestige engineering companies across the UK. We can then tell their unique engineering story in detail and map it and related assignments to the Diploma specification.

Consortia

Engineering Diploma consortia are supported by the TEP team in providing resources and training. High production values and reliability are key features of TEPs resources and teaching and learning materials. Linking learning across principal learning units and providing practical learning strategies are fundamental aspects of TEP support. Consortia member schools and colleges and individuals can sig up as TEP members and receive support, free resources and bespoke training.
